On the occasion of the 9th Algerian-Romanian meetings on “Water Resources, Natural Hazards, and Regional Development,” the Center for Territory Planning Research (CRAT) co-organized an international seminar in collaboration with the University of Constantine 3 – Salah Boubnider.
The seminar was titled “Vulnerability, Prevention, Adaptation, and Resilience of Regions.”
The Director of the center(CRAT), Prof. Chaouki Benabbas, actively participated in this scientific meeting by presenting his expertise on the following topic: “Active Tectonic Deformations and Slope Instability in Northeastern Algeria: Impact on Regional Development.”
Furthermore, the doctoral student, Ahmed Alliouche, also contributed to these meetings by presenting a paper entitled “Geomatics for Mapping Land Sensitivity to Desertification in Northern Algeria.”
